Logan's oldest incorporated club, bringing collectors together since 1973.
Our Story
The Logan Philatelic Society Inc, also known as the Logan City Stamp and Coin Club, was established by Dave Elsmore to bring together stamp enthusiasts from across the region in 1973.
Over five decades later, we have grown to become Logan's oldest incorporated club, with over 30 active members who share a common passion for stamps, postal history, and the stories they tell.
We are proud to have Councillor Jon Raven, Mayor of Logan, as our club's patron.
Our members' collections span multiple countries, eras, and thematic interests. From rare Australian colonial stamps to modern commemoratives, from airmail covers to topical collections featuring everything from animals to Disney characters, there's something for every collector at our meetings.

Australian Revenue Stamps
Our founder Dave Elsmore maintains a very detailed website on State, Revenue, Railway & Perfin Stamps of Australia. Lots of great pictures of stamps and very useful to identify and value those not so common stamps.
Unity Hub Community Centre
We hold our monthly meetings and annual stamp fair at Unity Hub Community Centre. Feel free to reach out to them and learn how they connect people through social groups, community meals and more.
